The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for the Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chidi Nnamdi, has identified investment in human capital as a key pillar of his vision for sustainable development in the constituency.

Nnamdi said true development should go beyond the construction of roads, bridges and other physical infrastructure, stressing that the ultimate measure of development is the extent to which it improves lives, expands opportunities and unlocks the potential of the people.

According to him, traders, farmers, artisans and young people require targeted support, skills, knowledge and access to opportunities to enable them to contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities.

“My vision for Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo is founded on a simple conviction: the most valuable investment any society can make is an investment in its people,” Nnamdi said.

He noted that traders need opportunities to expand their businesses, while farmers require modern knowledge, tools and access to markets. He also highlighted the need to equip artisans with relevant skills and equipment and provide young people with education, mentorship and digital capacity.

Nnamdi said the constituency is endowed with people who possess talent, enterprise and resilience, adding that purposeful representation should focus on converting these qualities into tangible opportunities.

He further pledged that, if elected in the 2027 election, he would champion initiatives aimed at making constituents not just beneficiaries of development programmes but active participants and drivers of economic and community development.

“When we invest in people, we build stronger families, more productive communities and a more prosperous constituency,” he said.
