2027: Atuma Vows Massive Grassroots Support for Tinubu’s Re-Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Hon. Emeka Atuma, has pledged massive grassroots mobilisation and electoral support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atuma, who spoke on behalf of other senatorial candidates at the inauguration of members of the Abia State Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Umuahia, expressed confidence that Abia Central would deliver an overwhelming number of votes for the President.

He described President Tinubu’s re-election as a priority for the APC, assuring party leaders and stakeholders of his commitment to securing victory for the President across Abia Central. He further expressed optimism that by 12 noon on election day, the President would have secured victory in the district and across Abia State.

The former member of the House of Representatives described President Tinubu as a courageous and decisive leader who had demonstrated the political will to take difficult but necessary decisions in the national interest.

He specifically highlighted the removal of fuel subsidy, Federal Government interventions in Abia State and the refund of funds expended by state governments on federal road projects as key achievements that, in his view, justify another term for the President.

Atuma also commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, for his sustained efforts towards strengthening party unity and cohesion in Abia State, noting that a united APC would be better positioned to achieve its electoral objectives in 2027.

The Abia Central APC senatorial candidate urged party members, leaders and stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilisation, strengthen their engagement with the electorate and work collectively towards delivering victory for President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
