Former Sokoto State Governor and prominent political figure, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent wave of deadly attacks across communities in Plateau State, calling the violence a national tragedy that must not be ignored.

In a heartfelt statement on Thursday, Tambuwal declared that no sane society should remain silent while innocent lives are lost and entire communities are ravaged.
“These senseless attacks are cruel, unjustified, and must never be tolerated,” he stated.

He extended his deepest sympathies to the victims and their families, expressing solidarity with the people of Plateau State during what he described as an “unimaginably painful time.”
Tambuwal called on the Federal Government to fulfill its constitutional responsibility of safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians. He urged security agencies to take swift and decisive action, stressing that those behind the atrocities must be held accountable.
“We cannot allow Nigeria to continue on this dangerous path of violence and impunity,” he warned, emphasizing the urgent need for justice and national unity in the face of such growing insecurity.
