Woman and Manager Murdered in Cold Blood by Her Staff in Lagos

The mother of a British Nigerian singer, Melisa has been murdered in cold blood. She was murdered alongside the manager of her hotel, Etashol by her aggrieved staff on Thursday, in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

It was gathered that the duo, Abimbola Olusola and Tunji Omikunle, were strangled to death by some staff who were aggrieved after being sacked over fraud.

Mrs Olusola, who had spent about 34 years abroad, returned to Nigeria less than a year ago to focus on the hospitality business and was already planning to return to her based when tragedy struck.

Her body was discovered by her 12-year-old son and one of the culprits has already been arrested by the police, while the rope used in strangling them has also been recovered.
