Russian Plane On Fire, Kills About 41 Passengers In Moscow
About 40 passengers and one crew member lost their lives, on Sunday, when a Russian passenger jet made an emergency landing at a Moscow airport.

There were 78 people on the plane. Videos showed passengers who had escaped the aircraft on exit slides, running away from the burning plane on the tarmac.
One witness said it was a “miracle” anyone escaped the jet, which was carrying 73 passengers and five crew.
Initial reports said the Superjet 100 was flying from Moscow to Murmansk when an emergency on board forced it to turn back and that its engines caught fire as it touched down.
The video showed that the aircraft was not burning on its final approach. It bounced on touchdown and caught fire as it struck the runway a second time.
