OMG! Brazilian Dies In An Air Crash While Traveling To Celebrate Girlfriend’s Birthday
In a plane crash, one of the most successful current pop stars in Brazil, Gabriel Diniz, was killed.
The 28-year-old was traveling to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday on Monday, May 27, 2019, when he was killed.
He and two pilots were killed. The PiperPA-28 Cherokee was considered airworthy, but was licensed for flight training and not for air taxi trips like the one apparently being made by Diniz.
Diniz built up his music career while also working as an electrical engineer. He grew a huge following in Brazil, particularly in the wake of his 2018 hit, Jenifer, which has a 237m view on YouTube.
