President Buhari Speaks At UN Assembly, Raises Issues Of Xenophobia, Racism And Others

President Muhammadu Buhari has raised the issue of xenophobia, racism and others which is taking over in the world at the moment.

The president is speaking at the World General Assembly and has thanked the assembly for electing His Excellency Tijjani Muhammad-Bande to the presidency of the 74th session of the August body.

He stated that the principles of the Assembly appears threatened and should be looked into while he advised that unilateral coordination should be taken so that resources can be managed by the African continent.

Buhari disclosed that Africa has the skill, manpower, natural resources and capacity but lacks the capital hence he pleads that industrial countries should take a ‘long view’ of Africa and partner with them to develop the continent for the benefit of all.
