Book Launch: How To Surmount Stigmatization Against People Living With HIV/AIDS
To deal with stigmatization and shaming of people living with HIV/AIDS, a book was launched in Umuahia, Abia State today.
To deal with stigmatization and shaming of people living with HIV/AIDS, a book was launched in Umuahia, Abia State today.

The book “Surmounting stigmatization campaign against people living with HIV/AIDS” was written by Mr Ugochukwu Nwankwo who said while addressing the people that the essence of the book was to address the stigmatization people living with the disease feel. He said that it will open the eyes of people to understand that you don’t have to isolate people living with the disease but rather, show them love.

Speaking at the event, the wife of the Governor, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu commended the writer for thinking about the people and writing the book. She said that the book will teach people how to treat the victims of the disease and also provide an avenue for them to live a long and fulfilled life.
In attendance were the members of the Abia State Online Media Publishers and other dignitaries.
