OMG! Mother Sells 3-months Old Baby To Sponsor Boyfriend’s Trip To France
A 25-year-old mother from Sefwi Wiawso in the Western Region has landed in the grips of the police after she sold her 3 months old child to sponsor her boyfriend’s trip to France.

A 25-year-old mother from Sefwi Wiawso in the Western Region has landed in the grips of the police after she sold her 3 months old child to sponsor her boyfriend’s trip to France.
The young lady, Sarah Kwabla confessed that she sold her baby to a mallam in their vicinity in exchanged for the amount the boyfriend needed to travel to France.
The report explained that the boyfriend of Sara Kwabla, the young lady who sold her child, one Akwasi Botwe (both unemployed) received a call from his friend, Yaw Kinto who resides in France offering him the chance to move to France.
Akwasi Botwe was to raise an amount of GHC10,000. But he was only able to raise on GHC2,000 a few weeks to the end of the invitation.
But from nowhere on the 24th September 2019, his girlfriend who is the mother of his child, Sarah Kwabla credited his account with the remaining GHC8,000.
Shock with the gesture, he confronted his girlfriend who confessed she sold her child to a Mallam in their neighbourhood for the GHC800.
Akwasi Botwe who was shocked by the turn of events ruched to the Sehwi Wiawso police station and reported the case. Sarah was immediately arrested for interrogation.
