Following the fight for corruption and stability of the Nigerian Institutions, Twitter users have argued that the Academic Staff Union of Universities is also the problem of the institutions.

They went ahead to claim that they always strike for their benefits, not for the benefit of the students who schools there since all their children are either schooling outside the country or in private institutions.
Most times claims another reader, these striking lecturers claims that it is for the betterment of the students but in the true form of it, it is for their own benefit.
