Housewife Pushes Rival, Son Into A Well
A 30-year-old housewife, Hauwa Lawal, has been arrested by the Kano State Police Command for allegedly pushing her rival, Zuwaira Sani and her 18 months old son into a well.
A 30-year-old housewife, Hauwa Lawal, has been arrested by the Kano State Police Command for allegedly pushing her rival, Zuwaira Sani and her 18 months old son into a well.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna confirmed that the incident happened on Monday at Rurum village in the Rano Local Government Area of the State.
According to him, the rivals were in a dispute and in the process, Hauwa pushed her rival with her 18-month-old son, Mustafa Gambo, who was strapped on her back, into a well in their compound.
Haruna stated that the victims were rescued from the well and rushed to the Rano Hospital, where Zuwaira was confirmed dead, while her son was treated and discharged.
He added that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation.
