FG Approves #33,000 Monthly Allowance for Corps Members

Amidst the implementation of the new minimum wage, the Federal Government has approved the payment of #33,000 to Corps members as monthly allowance.

This was made known by the SA to the president on media, Bashir Ahmed on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.

He said that provision has been made for the new allowance in the 2020 budget and payment of it will commence as soon as funds are released.

He wrote, “The FG approves the payment of N33,000 as monthly allowance for members of the NYSC, the DG of NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim disclosed, added that provision had been made for the new allowance in the year 2020 Budget, and payment would commence as soon as funds were released.”
