You Don’t Pray to Change Your Leaders, You Change Them – Pastor Adeyemi

The Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Center, Pastor Sam Adeyemi has started that you cannot pray to God to change your leaders rather you change them as he has given the people power to do so.

Pastor Adeyemi said this on his Twitter revealing that that is what happens in a democratic government.

He further stated that the only reason you can pray to God to change your leader is if it’s in a practiced hereditary kingdom.

“In a monarchy, you can only pray to God to change your leader. In a democracy, you pray for your leaders, but if they don’t lead well, you don’t pray for God to change them, you change them. God will not do what He has given you power to do. #leadership #citizensareleaders”

Recall that there have been calls from different groups asking President Muhammadu Buhari to resign over the cause of insecurity and state of the country.
