Second Coming Limited Donates N5.5m Gas to Abians, Deputy Gov. Applauds
The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has commended good spirited Abians for their donations to the state since the fight to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Abia commenced.
The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has commended good spirited Abians for their donations to the state since the fight to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Abia commenced.

Sir Oko Chukwu made the commendation at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Secretary to the State government, Barrister Chris Ezem while receiving in audience a delegation from Second Coming Nigeria Limited, Umuahia who came to announce measures by the company to assist Abia government and Abians in general.
He appreciated the Management of the Company for identifying with the government and people of the state praying God to enlarge their coasts.
The number two citizen hinted that since the constitution of the committee on COVID-19, well meaning Abians have been identifying with the government, pointing out that by agreeing to donate about 35 thousand liters of gas worth over N5.5 million to Abians, it means that the company has Abians at heart, praying that they commence the gesture from Friday, April, 10 2020 to coincide with the stay at home order which begins 6 a.m Friday, April 10 and ends 2pm Sunday, April 12.

Earlier while speaking on the reason behind their visit, Mr Oken Maduabuchi, a representative of the Manager, Second Coming Nigeria Limited, Dr. Basil Ogbuanu (JP), said in a bid to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus COVID-19 scourge, the company deemed it necessary to reel out 35 thousand liters of gas worth N5.5 million to assist Abians especially this period of lockdown, informing that the free refilling of gas will commence from Saturday April 11 to Sunday April 12, 2020.Contributing, the Media Adviser, Second Coming Nigeria Limited, Mr. Bright Uzumba, said the company decided to ameliorate the sufferings of Abians through this, adding that it is a way of being alive to their Corporate Social Responsibility.
Correspondent reports that the Secretary to the State Government Barrister Chris Ezem as well as other top government functionaries were present during the visit which coincided with the visit of the State National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who presented NYSC branded face masks and hand sanitizers.
