Broken? How do I Tell my Fiance that Alhaji Infected me with HIV? – Youth Corper Laments

A lady who just finished her National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in the North who had a relationship with an Alhaji has just tested positive to HIV few months to her wedding with her fiance.

The girl who is home now have been running ill for some time and was advised to take a test, she did and found out she was HIV positive.

According to the narrator, the lady is shattered as she doesn’t know how to tell her fiance whom she never had any sexual intercourse with throughout their relationship.

It was supposed to be “just NYSC affair”, but things turned around two weeks after she came back from Service. She started taking ills and all, so people suggested she should carry out some tests. Her test result came out on Friday, positive for HIV.

Now, the guy she’s been dating before the youth service never had sex with her. They are supposed to be getting married later this year. She called to tell me she’s scared of breaking the news to him. She has cried her eyes out these past few days. She doesn’t want to lose him. What do you advise she do?”
