The former spokesman to former President Goodluck Jonathan stated that Nigeria should use it’s major ethnic languages as it’s lingua franca.
He also stated that Switzerland has four lingua franca and uses it perfectly but if we leave ours, the Nigerian languages will go into extinction.
Read his post, ‘Why is English still Nigeria’s ONLY lingua franca? Why can’t we make Igbo, Hausa & Yoruba official languages? Switzerland has 4 official languages. In Tanzania, Swahili is used for everything. Why must we be promoting a foreign language when we have indigenous ones?
