COVID-19: Senate Gives New Directive to Aides as Plenary Resumes

The staff and aides of the Nigerian Senators have been mandated to work from home as plenary sittings begin on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020.

This was contained in a memo signed by the Clerk of the Senate, Mr Nelson Ayewoh directing the resumption of the sitting last night.

According to the memo, COVID 19 safety guidelines would be made available to the members upon resumption.

The Senators of the National Assembly are resuming after more than one month of forced adjournment occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
