One of the index cases in Abia State has been discharged after the patient tested negative to COVID-19 on two consecutive test.
One of the index cases in Abia State has been discharged after the patient tested negative to COVID-19 on two consecutive tests.
The Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu disclosed this during a press conference at the government house, Umuahia, Abia State.
Governor Ikpeazu stated that the patient has been discharged while the second patient is in a stable condition.
The patient who is above 70 years in age and presented with serious underlying medical conditions, is the oldest COVID-19 patient to be discharged in the South East and South-South Regions.
