The deputy minority leader and the member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Tomide Akinribido he been accused by a lady of fraud after failing to marry her.
The lady took to Twitter to lament when Mr Tomide shared pictures with his beautiful wife who is also the princess of Akure kingdom.
She stated that she funded his election but was shocked that after he won, he sent his friend to tell her that his mother refused the union.
She also accused the family of being in on the scam but chose to keep mute and collect her money.

This guy fraudulently lied to me that he wants to marry me. Took all my money to fund his election and disappeared immediately after winning the election.
His friends and members of his family were in on the scam and they cheered him on. After he had achieved his mission he sent @Bobbyoba to come and tell me that it was his mother who kicked against him marrying a non Yoruba. Every single thing Bobby told me that day I recorded it all.’

There have been so many reactions on the story on Twitter with many stating that she could not have sponsored his election while others want Mr Tomide to defend himself.
