#Justiceforuwa: UNIBEN Vice-Chancellor Reacts to Student’s Death
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Edo State, Prof. Lilian Salami has reacted to the death of 22-year-old 100 level student of Microbiology of the school who was raped and murdered at her local church.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Edo State, Prof. Lilian Salami has reacted to the death of 22-year-old 100 level student of Microbiology of the school who was raped and murdered at her local church.

Uwaila Omozuwa was raped and killed at her church where she went to read her books.
Her killed used a fire extinguisher to bash her head and she died on Saturday evening at the University of Benin Teaching hospital.

The Vice-Chancellor commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed that God grant her soul rest.

Recall that there has been outrage on the internet over the death of the young girl as citizens call for justice.
