COVID-19: How to get tested in Abia State

Abia State Government has disclosed a simple way to get tested in the State to avoid the spread of the virus and protect the lives of people.

Recall that Abia State has recorded 151 confirmed cases already which might likely rise up if it’s not curbed.

Here are the ways to get tested;

1. Call Abia State Helpline; 0700 2242 362

Or

2. Visit any of the following health facilities:

i. Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) behind Nigeria Breweries in Aba.

Time: 11am-3pm every week day

ii. Abia State Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Amachara, Umuahia.

Time: 11am to 3pm every week day

iii. Federal Medical Center, Umuahia

Time: 10am to 3pm

NOTE:
According to NCDC, if you have COUGH or FEVER & 1 of these symptoms

⚫Loss of taste/smell
⚫Difficulty breathing
⚫Diarrhea
⚫Cattarh
⚫Fatigue
⚫Shivering
⚫Body pain
⚫Headache
⚫Sore throat
