Police Prevents Man from Jumping into Lagoon in Lagos State
The Lagos State Police Command has prevented a young man who wanted to dive into the Lagoon from doing so on Monday, June 15th, 2020.
The Lagos State Police Command has prevented a young man who wanted to dive into the Lagoon from doing so on Monday, June 15th, 2020.

The young man revealed that he wanted to kill himself due to frustrations and was hell bent on killing himself but was restrained by the officers.
The man has been taken to Oworo Police Station and his family contacted.
The official Twitter handle said, “Yesterday our vigilant officers on 3MB prevented this young man from diving into the Lagoon. His expression of frustration made him hell bent on jumping despite being restrained by the officers. He’s been taken to Oworo Police Station where his family was contacted. #TheGoodGuys”
This wouldn’t be the first time someone has jumped into the lagoon or attempted to.
