Abia State Government has called on the arrest of a policeman Sergent Chinatu Onyema who allegedly killed two people in Aba.

Speaking through the Abia State Government through the Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu condemned the killings and urged the State Police Command to fish out the suspect and bring him to justice.
Recall that four days ago, Sergeant Onyema allegedly killed two people in Aba in which one of the victims was identified as Ifeanyi Kalu, a member of the Abia State Board of Internal Revenue Task Force operating in the area on Wednesday.

The State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede, who regretted the incident, said the police is currently making efforts to arrest the suspect who is currently at large and charge him to court.
Agbede, while warning officers and men to always obey the rules of engagement, assured that her Command will soon commence re-training of personnel in order to reduce the rate of extra-judicial killings in the State.
