COVID-19: Yam Grows Out of UNICAL Boy’s Hostel
Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and student leaving school for home over the prolonged break, a tuber of yam has grown from student’s hostel in the University of Calabar, Cross River State.
Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and student leaving school for home over the prolonged break, a tuber of yam has grown from student’s hostel in the University of Calabar, Cross River State.

The students left in a hurry and left some of their foodstuffs since they actually felt the break will not be long.

And no one knows when schools will be reopened as the government has postponed it’s reopening until further notice.
