Suspended UNICAL Law Dean Gets 5-Year Jail Term for Sexual Harassment
A Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced Professor Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), to five years in prison, with no option of a fine, for sexually harassing female students.

Ndifon was prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a four-count charge including sexual harassment, abuse of office and corrupt practices.
The allegations centred on Ndifon, while serving as Dean, soliciting nude photographs and videos from students via WhatsApp, in exchange for academic favours.
Ndifon, who has denied the accusations and claimed the evidence was tampered with, previously opened his defence, alleging that images presented in court were edited.
