TIMAAS Apprehends Man Extorting Street Traders in Aba

In operation rekindle discipline as launched by the Traffic And Indiscipline Management Agency Of Abia State, a man, John Ude was apprehended for extorting street traders in Aba.

Mr Ude who hails from Isiukwuato LGA Abia state was seen extorting sums of money from Roadside Traders within Brass Junction area of Aba.

Mr John Ude collects from #3000 and #3500 Daily from these roadside traders that are blocking the roadways in the city with their Wares.

It could be recalled that the TIMAAS Boss Commdr. Bright Chinedu Ikeokwu had warned few days ago that those who are responsible for extorting money from the traders and encouraging them to stay put will soon be apprehended.

In a raid carried out today 29-07-2020 by the officers of Traffic And Indiscipline Management Agency Of Abia State, Mr John Ude was captured.

Mr Ude admitted to extorting money from the Roadside Traders but said he collects only #500 and 1000 from them.
However, the Traders he collects the money from said they have been paying between #3000 and #3500 to Mr Ude.

Mr Ude will soon be charged to Court as TIMAAS is leaving no stone unturned in ridding the state of all forms of illegal trading.
