Police Arrest Man for Raping 10-year-old Girl
A 26-year-old man identified as Stanley Okpara has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl at Okpoko.
A 26-year-old man identified as Stanley Okpara has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl at Okpoko.

Stanley who is said to be from Umueze Isuofia in Aguata LGA of Anambra State but resides at NO.14 Edeh road Okpoko lured the 10-year-old girl inside his shop when she went to supply him a waterproof bag and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

According to the Anambra State Police Public Relation Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed, the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination and it was confirmed that penetration and laceration of her hymen happened.
However, the case has been transferred to the State criminal investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police, CP John B.Abang, FDC after which suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
