I’m Nigerian First – Davido Fires Back at Critics Over Meeting with IGP
Singer David Adeleke who is popularly known as Davido has stated that he is Nigerian first before any other title and will never betray his motherland.
Singer David Adeleke who is popularly known as Davido has stated that he is Nigerian first before any other title and will never betray his motherland.

He said this after a video surfaced online of his visit to the Inspector General of Police headquarters and was met by the Police Public Relation Officer Frank Mba.
Davido who was accused of betraying the #EndSARS protest said he will never betray the cause and the video circulated was taken out of context.
Davido said in the video that he was not part of the protest in Abuja on Sunday.
Remember that Davido flew in straight from the airport to the protest and led the people to the Police Headquarters to interact with the force for the release of protesters.
Through his intervention, the protesters were released and the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu invited him for a meeting.
Davido was accompanied to the meeting by Ubi Franklin, Dbanj, and other persons.
