#OsunDecides2026: Akpabio Stops Collation – Davido
Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of halting the collation of the governorship election results held on Saturday, 15th August 2026.

In a post on X, Davido stated that Senator Akpabio instructed officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cease the collation process.
“Sen. president Akpabio has called the coalition center that they should stop collation!!!!”
Davido, who also tweeted that he would never support the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in his life, accused Hon. James Faleke of pressuring INEC to change the Osun election results, telling him to respect the wishes of the people of Osun.
“We don’t want Oyetola and AMBO,” he wrote.
Davido also declared that the Adelekes will no longer support any presidential candidate in the country.
His uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is contesting a second term through the Accord Party against APC’s candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.
