‘Recall Suspended CoS’ – Abia Traditional Rulers To Ikpeazu

Traditional rulers in Abia state have called on the Abia governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to please recall his suspended Chief Of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere.

Dr. Agbazuere was suspended from office for spraying money on a man of God Dr. Chukwuemeka Ohaneme (aka Odumeje) during his visit to government house in Umuahia, they pleaded with the governor to please reconsider his stand and reinstate his chief of Staff back to office.

Speaking with Newsmen on behalf of other traditional rulers, a traditional Ruler and chairman of Ohuhu Council of Ndi Eze, HRM Eze Everest Nnamdi Ofoegbu described Dr. Agbazuere’ as a man who has brought traditional rulers and Abians together since he entered office, in his words ‘’Dr. ACB Agbazuere has shown capacity and administrative competence since he assumed office as chief of Staff, he has treated traditional rulers with so much respect and has represented the governor well, we as Royal fathers plead with Governor Ikpeazu to please in the interest of his administration return Dr. Agbazuere back to his office as chief of staff, bringing a man of God to government house for prayers cannot be an offence, we as royal fathers implore on the governor to please forgive whatever offence he has committed that led to his suspension.

Eze Ofoegbu advised those attacking Dr. Agbazuere and calling for his prosecution to desist from such a call as Dr Agbazuere has done nothing against them but just doing his job in the interest of the state and his boss, he said such wickedness against their fellow Abian will attract the wrath of God, ‘’spraying of money is our culture as Africans and should not attract such sanctions.

He likened the suspension of Dr. Agbazuere to throwing away the baby with the bath water, and reminded Dr. Ikpeazu and all those rejoicing and firing up the crisis not to forget the wonderful work that he (Agbazuere) did while he was in ASPIMSS and all other places he had served the state in different capacities, they described him as an asset to governor Ikpeazu’s administration and that even if he had made a little mistake, he also deserves to be forgiven having served him and his administration dedicatedly with every sincerity of purpose.
