The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the resumption date for public and private schools in the State.
The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the resumption date for public and private schools in the State.
According to the statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Sir Chidi Adiele, the Stare will be using the school year calendar published in August 2020.
Schools in the State are to resume on the 4th of January, 2021 for normal academic activities.
Part of the statement reads, “Schools are advised to maintain all COVID-19 Protocols, including the wearing of face masks, use of hand sanitisers and staggered classes/ morning and afternoon session to avoid overcrowding.”
