FFK Blast Those Celebrating Donald Trump’s Ban on Twitter

Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani Kayode has condemned the banning of the account of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump by Twitter.

He said this on Saturday reminding the people thag banning of Trump on Twitter and Facebook is the same thing as censoring social media reiterating that censorship is evil.

FFK argued that the idea of censoring of social media by the Federal Government of Nigeria is the same thing as banning the account of Trump as freedom of speech should be entirely free.

He wrote, “You cannot celebrate banning @realDonaldTrump on Facebook and Twitter and at the same time say you are against the Social Media Bill that the Buhari Govt. wants to introduce. You are either for freedom of speech or you are not. You cannot have it both ways. Censorship is evil.”

There has been outrage over the banning of the social media accounts of President Donald Trump in which Twitter cited that his recent tweets violated their company policy.
