FG Solidifies Stance on NIN Registration
Following the ongoing National Identity Number registration going on, the Federal Government has insisted that the exercise will end on the 19th day of January 2021.
Following the ongoing National Identity Number registration going on, the Federal Government has insisted that the exercise will end on the 19th day of January 2021.

Recall that the federal government earlier shifted the date from December 30th 2020 to 19th following the outrage on the huge number of persons that are yet to register themselves.
It stated that all SIMs that were not registered with valid NINs on the network of telecommunications companies would be blocked.

Speaking through the Director, Public Affairs, NCC, Ikechukwu Adinde, on Sunday, he reiterated that the NIN was also mandatory for diplomats who live in Nigeria.
“The deadlines are still in force; there is no update for now and just like I told you last week if there is any change it will be communicated,” he said.
