Police Arrest Fourteen Illegal Revenue Collectors
Fourteen more suspects have been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command over illegal revenue collection in Onitsha and its environment.
Fourteen more suspects have been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command over illegal revenue collection in Onitsha and its environment.

The Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano has banned the roadside collection of internal revenue from a motorist in the State by government revenue agents.
However, the police patrol teams have gone ahead to arrest illegal revenue collectors despite several warnings by the State Government.
Police operatives attached to the Area Command Onitsha and Okpoko Division had while on patrol along, upper iweka, Owerri road and head bridge, on the 25th-27th January arrested fourteen (14) more illegal revenue collectors under the false pretence of revenue agents in the State.
The police spokesman, Haruna Mohammed, revealed in a statement that the number of suspects arrested for illegal revenue collections so far is forty-three (43) within one week and the operation is still ongoing.
The Suspects would be brought to book as soon as investigations are concluded.
