A group known as Concerned Nigerians has written to the International Criminal Court to investigate ex-Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai on abuse of human rights.

In a letter made available on Thursday, it cited the many times General Buratai has abused the rights of Nigerians.
The letter stated that General Buratai ordered the killing of 300 Nigerian Shiite Muslims who were accused of touching the chest of a general.
The group also accused General Buratai of ordering the killing of 100 of defenceless South Easterners on the verge of looking for members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra which has not been proscribed at this time.
General Buratai was also indicted on the killing of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on the 20th of October, 2020.
The group called on the ICC to investigate General Buratai as he has been relieved of his duties and is free to face the Court.
