Ikpeazu Set to Commission Osokwa-Aro Umuejie-Omoba Road

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu in company of his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, HE Udom Emmanuel, commission the newly constructed Osokwa-Aro Umuejie-Omoba Road which transverses Osisioma and Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Areas of the state.

This was made known by the State Commissioner of Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, on Tuesday, stating that the Governor has invited the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Okochukwu and others to commission the project on the 12th February, 2020.

In continuation of his Kinetic Abia project inspection and commissioning programme, Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, will in company of his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, HE Udom Emmanuel, Commission the recently constructed Osokwa-Aro Umuejie-Omoba Road which transverses Osisioma and Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Areas of the state, on Friday, 12th February, 2020, at 1pm.

The Governor has invited the following to accompany him to the programme:

a. Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, and members of the state executive council

b. Member representing Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Solomon Adaelu

c. Member representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Darlington Nwokocha

d. Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Enyinnaya Orji, and members of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly

e. Members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) led by Hon. Michael Ibe

f. State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere

g. Members of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers led by HRM Eze Joseph Nwabekee

h. State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Apostle Emma Agumuo and Bishop Sunday Onuoha

i. Leaders of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the state

j. Leaders of transport unions and farmers associations in the state

k. State Chairman and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)
