Breaking News: Policemen Set Timber Market in Nnewi Ablaze
Some policemen have set Timber market (Ọgbọ osisi) in Nnewi, Anambra State on fire while looking for Indian hemp smokers in a valley located at the back of the market.
Some policemen have set Timber market (Ọgbọ osisi) in Nnewi, Anambra State on fire while looking for Indian hemp smokers in a valley located at the back of the market.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon as the policemen put on a lighter which immediately caught fire with the sawdust.
The fire has been said to have burnt down over 100 shops. Even though water tankers are there, the rescue is doing nothing as the inferno is too much.
Angry residents pounced on the vehicles of the policemen which they left while running away from the scene.
