Ikpeazu Directs Immediate Setup of Taskforce Over Curfew
To protect the citizens, Abia State Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, PhD has directed the Executive Chairmen of Aba North, Aba South, Ohafia and Arochukwu Local Governments to set up a task force to enforce the curfew.
To protect the citizens, Abia State Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, PhD has directed the Executive Chairmen of Aba North, Aba South, Ohafia and Arochukwu Local Governments to set up a task force to enforce the curfew.
The curfew was enforced following the explosive device found at Union Primary School in Afaraukwu, Umuahia on Thursday.
The Governor announced the curfew to aid security operatives fish out criminals in the State.
As the statement made available by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr A.C.B. Agbazuere on Friday revealed, the task force is to be set up immediately.
