Mbaka Shut Down Adoration Ministry Over ‘Spiritual Exercise’

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has shut down the Adoration Ministry over a plan to embark on a private spiritual exercise.

In a message to the congregation on Tuesday, he said that no activity will be held on the ministry until his return.

Fr Mbaka has been on the news over his controversial views on politics. When he was declared missing by his congregations, the fanatics rushed to the Bishop of Enugu Diocese house, destroyed the properties while looking for the priest.

Meanwhile, Fr Mbaka made it clear during the Sunday sermon that he cannot fight the Catholic Church and apologized for his wrongdoings.

In his message, Fr Mbaka urged his fellow Adorers to use the time to seek the face of God ‘by praying at their homes, being charitable and fasting according to their ability.’

“Our Spiritual Director, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka wishes to inform his beloved adorers that he has embarked on a private prayer retreat that will end on 10th June 2021.

“Consequently, no ministry activities shall be held in the ministry ground pending his return.

“He directs that members of the ministry are to observe this period of his retreat as they used to do during the usual January breaks of the ministry, by praying at their homes, being charitable and fasting according to their ability. Adoration! Holy Spirit is our Power.”
