Fr Mbaka: Catholic Church Bans Prophetic Naming of Political Candidates
The Catholic Church has banned Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka and other Catholic Priests from playing partisan politics or prophetic naming a candidate.
The Catholic Church has banned Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka and other Catholic Priests from playing partisan politics or prophetic naming a candidate.

This was made known in a statement issued by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Bishop Callistus C. Onaga whose residence was vandalized a month ago over the rumour that Fr Ejike Mbaka was kidnapped and missing.

Fr Mbaka was invited by the Bishop over his call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari on the high insecurity and downtown development in the country.

The Bishop made it clear that the Adoration Ministry will be run as a chaplaincy and other priest appointed as assistants while the ultimate goal will be to draw souls to Christ and not just their mundane desires.

Meanwhile, Fr Mbaka suspended church activities at the Adoration Ministry for one month as he undergoes spiritual exercise.
