The Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, has been kidnapped In his way to Abuja.
The Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, has been kidnapped In his way to Abuja.
The emir was abducted along the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Tuesday evening as confirmed by his relative Ibrahim Bello.
“Yes, it’s true. He was kidnapped on the Kaduna-Abuja road immediately after Olam Farm,” Mr. Bello said.
Mr Attahiru was the Secretary to the Government of Zamfara State during Governor Abdulaziz Yari’s tenure before he was turbaned the Emir of Bungudu.
