Abuja-Kaduna Train: Nigeria, a Failed State Says Moghalu – Reveals What Country Needs

Kingsley Moghalu, a presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress and the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria has stated that 2023 is the last chance Nigeria has to take back the country.

Speaking on his social media page on Saturday while analysing reports of the terrorist attacks on the Abuja-Kaduna train revealed that Nigeria is a failed state that’s pretending to be a normal country.

Moghalu, who contested for the presidential seat in 2019 under the Youth Progressive Party further revealed that the old order cannot fix Nigeria and reiterated that Nigeria needs something new and different to reverse the failure.

“After reading reports of the terrorist attacks on the Abuja-Kaduna train, and of how security networks were reportedly aware in advance of the attack but did nothing, we must tell ourselves the truth: Nigeria is a failed state pretending to be a normal country.

2023 is our last chance to take our country back. To succeed, we must think and see clearly and act decisively. The old order, the business as usual order, can’t fix Nigeria. A problem does not solve itself. Only something new and different will. Let’s back that thing. Our state failure can be reversed. Britain suffered from “The Troubles” (terrorism by the Irish Republican Army) decades ago, but today it’s a different story. Afghanistan is not our destiny, but we must change our political direction in 2023 to make that outcome a false prophecy.”
