A 12-year-old boy has been beaten to death in a boarding school identified as Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State for refusal to join a cult.
A 12-year-old boy has been beaten to death in a boarding school identified as Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State for refusal to join a cult.

According to the boy’s uncle who shared it on Twitter, the boy who died on Monday mentioned five names of students who had a hand in his death.
“This is my 12 years old cousin that was beaten to death at a school that cost over 1 million naira. Dowen college is a disgrace. He mentioned 5 names before passing yesterday 💔 Yes o. They tried to put him in cult, he refused and they killed him. Secondary school o He died yesterday but called a few names.”
The boys mentioned are Anslem Temile, Micahels Kashamu, Benjamin Favour and two others not disclosed.
Meanwhile, Dowen College is yet to respond and has since locked the comment of their page on Instagram.
