25kg Cocaine Deal: Court Grants NDLEA’s Request to Detain Kyari, Others
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted an application by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to detain suspense Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari and six others over its investigation on a 25kg cocaine deal.
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted an application by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to detain suspense Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari and six others over its investigation on a 25kg cocaine deal.

A statement signed by the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Tuesday revealed that the suspects will be detained for two weeks pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Recall that the suspended DCP was arrested last week following allegations of bribing an NDLEA officer and involvement in a 25kg drug deal.
