Ned Nwoko: Police Arrest Lawyer for Defending Sowore
A lawyer Marshal D.F. Abubakar has been arrested by men of Nigeria police for defending RevolutionNow convener Omoyele Sowore against businessman Ned Nwoko.
A lawyer Marshal D.F. Abubakar has been arrested by men of Nigeria police for defending RevolutionNow convener Omoyele Sowore against businessman Ned Nwoko.

Barrister Abubakar who is attached to the Femi Falana Chambers was traced to his home and forcefully arrested by the Police.
According to a post shared by Sowore, the Police revealed that Abubakar embarrassed the force by suing them and Ned Nwoko.

“BREAKING: Nigeria Police Force has just arrested Marshal Abubakar a lawyer attached to Femi Falana Chambers in Abuja for defending me during my recent spat with the police and so called “Billionairë” Ned Nwoko.
“Marshal D F Abubakar was traced to his home and forcefully arrested because he was accused of defending me. They claimed that he embarrassed the @police by suing them and Ned Nwoko on my behalf.”
Sowore was arrested outside of the court of Appeal on the 24th of February 2022 on an allegation of defamation by businessman Ned Nwoko published on his website Sahara Reporters.
Sowore, who has declared interest to run for the highest job in the country as the President was taken to the dreaded police station Panti in Abuja, was denied access to his lawyers but was released later the same night.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to confirm the arrest.
