Gunmen Burns Down Idemili Local Govt., Magistrate Court

Suspected gunmen has razed down Idemili North Local Government Secretariat and a Magistrate Court in Ogidi Anambra State.

The incident which happened on Sunday night reduced all vehicles, files and documents in the secretariat and court to ashes.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said: “Yes, the incident was confirmed, and our men were there to restore normalcy.

“Right now, the fire has been put off, and calm has been restored to the area.”

The State Governor Professor Charles Soludo has been at the forefront of restoring peace in Anambra State and the entire South-East and assured that normalcy will return in the land while advising residents and indigenous of the State to shun evil and choose peace.
