ASUU Strike: Sowore Joins Nigerian Student on Protest
The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has joined the National Association of Nigerian Students to protest the prolonged industrial strike of the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU.

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has joined the National Association of Nigerian Students to protest the prolonged industrial strike of the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU.
Sowore joined the protest which was held at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Monday morning.
Sharing pictures from the protest on his Twitter handle saying, “#EndASUUstrike I joined Nigerian students picketing the International Airport in Lagos over the protracted ASUU strike, on the frontlines today under heavy downpour! #WeCantContinueLikeThis”
ASUU has been on strike since February and all efforts to end the strike have proved abortive.
