Amidst Party Disparity, Wike Present as Buhari Inaugurates Body Of Benchers Complex

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike was present as President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja on Thursday.

Wike joined the President and other members of the ruling party amidst a war with the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Chairman Body of Benchers, Chief Wole Olanipekun, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi and other dignitaries were in attendance.

Recall that Wike and his group have insisted that the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu should resign for a Southern Chairman, a request that its Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said he cannot force on the former.
