INEC Airlifts BVAS Machines to States
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has airlifted the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS machines to States in preparation for the 2023 general election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has airlifted the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS machines to States in preparation for the 2023 general election.

According to the pictures shares on the INEC’a handle on Twitter on Wednesday, the activity was supervised by the Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.
“As part of the readiness assessment by the Commission ahead of the #NigeriaDecides2023 election scheduled for February & March 2023, INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, today observed the airlifting of BVAS machines to other states at the International Airport.”
In February, INEC said it will deploy a total of 176, 846 of Bimodal Voter Accreditation System for the February 2023 general elections.
Itfurther said that the commission would provide 17,618 BVAS machines for backup, with two devices per registration area.
