Two dreaded armed robbers, 29-year-old Gift Famous popularly known as Babone, and another yet-to-be-identified neutralized in Delta State on the 2nd December 2022.
A statement by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe revealed that Babone has been terrorizing Warri, Ekpan, and other areas in the State.
He was neutralized during a gun duel with a policeman of Ovwian Aladja police station on December 2nd in the Opete community in Udu.
DSP Bright also stated that the duo was allegedly responsible for the murder of one Douglas Abugu on the 18th of August 2022 and the murder of one ‘small doctor’ whose real name is unknown on the 22nd of August 2022.
They were also responsible for most robbery operations around Ekpan and Warri axis.
